However, roles are evolving rapidly. Nowadays, more and more men are raising their children alone, sharing household chores, caring for children, and openly talking about their feelings.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Most men, young or adult, treat women respectfully, and the majority of couples have healthy romantic and sexual relationships. However, there remains a significant number of people who continue to have violent behaviours and commit acts without the other person&#8217;s consent.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b>Remember that:<\/b><\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each person is responsible for their actions;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Violence is never an acceptable way to react and it often leads to even more violence;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alcohol, drugs, or illness are NOT excuses;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Physical violence and threats of violence are crimes;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0A person can change their violent behaviours with the help of their friends and the community;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Men, regardless of age, can also be assaulted, drugged, or raped.<br \/><br \/><\/span><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-7440fd1 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"7440fd1\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-cbaf0f0\" data-id=\"cbaf0f0\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3cdd6e8 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3cdd6e8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><b>How to Act as a Witness to Sexual Assault?<\/b><\/span><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ffffff;\">As a witness, you have a duty to intervene in a situation of sexual violence. No means no. You and your friends can make a huge difference by giving other men the opportunity to discuss the issue. Men have remained silent for far too long.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Openly disapprove of sexual harassment and any form of sexual assault. You will realize that violence against women is not a myth and that it is an existing problem at the local, national, and international level.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Support organizations that help victims of violence committed by men.
