Our location is confidential; a counsellor will give you the address when making an appointment. We have an office in La Malbaie and one in Baie-Saint-Paul. In some cases, other meeting locations are also possible; do not hesitate to ask the counsellor.<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

– It is possible to use the Mobilit\u00e9 Collective Charlevoix service. CALACS can pay for the round-trip ticket upon request. You will find the schedules at this address : https:\/\/www.mobilitecharlevoix.ca\/<\/a><\/p>

– A CALACS counsellor can pick you up at your home, depending on the distance you live and your comfort level and that of your counsellor<\/p>

– CALACS can also pay taxi fees. You must request this from your counsellor before going to your appointment.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

No. You can benefit from CALACS services without having to file a police report, and without any pressure. However, if you wish to file a police report, we can accompany you. \u2013 For individual support with a counsellor, 20 individual sessions are allocated, but the number can vary according to your needs.

\u2013 For group meetings, it is 8 to 10 meetings for a complete session. You can join the group at any time during the session. The duration of a meeting is 2.5 hours, and takes place during the day or evening, depending on the sessions.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\u2013 Yes. There is no limit to the number of requests for help.
\u2013 If at the end of the 20 individual support sessions you feel the need to continue support, you can make another request. Depending on the waiting list, there could however be a delay and\/or a change of counsellor.
\u2013 If after participating in the support group, you wish to start individual support or have legal support, it is possible to do so.
\u2013 The number of legal, medical, or other accompaniments is unlimited.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

From age 14, the law allows adolescents to consent to care in complete confidentiality. This means that your parents do not have to be informed and that what you say will be confidential; they will not have access to your file. However, we are required, by law, to report any situation of sexual assault to the Youth Protection Department (DPJ). This process will be done in the most humane and transparent way possible.<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

No. CALACS is a feminist organization that offers help services to women and adolescent girls aged 14 and over only.
