Your participation in the group is confidential at all times.

The group is for women and adolescent girls aged 14 and over who have been victims of sexual assault and live in the Charlevoix region. The objective of the group is to break isolation and regain power over one’s life.

Specific Objectives:

• Create a safe space for exchange and mutual support where participants can express their feelings, emotions, concerns, and successes in a respectful and non-judgmental environment;
• Identify and reduce the consequences of sexual assault;
•  Raise awareness of the common social causes of sexual assault;
•  Encourage and support women in their healing process.
  

The group is composed of 4 to 8 women or adolescent girls. Two facilitator-counsellors (ou: Two facilitator-workers) organize and lead the sessions. 8 to 10 sessions are scheduled every two weeks, lasting 2.5 hours, at a time and location determined according to the availability and location of the women.
